You can find these to help you with everything such as, styles of different makeups, different eye makeups, and generally how to put it on properly. you can also find videos of people reviewing different brands of makeup, these are done my many people and be found very easily across the internet especially on youtube. makeup brushes

makeup brushes are used for the application of makeup.
they are made using natural or synthetic bristles and then handle is made of plastic or wood. when you apply the makeup you use the right brush to blend it to make it look more natural
you can get them in different shapes all for different uses, they can be flat, angled or straight. they can also be shorter or longer bristles

Foundation brush - it is long with flat bristles and a tapered tip
Powder brush - it has fluffy bristles, its soft and it's full and rounded
Blush brush - it is a brush with fine bristles and rounded head
Concealer brush - it is soft and flat with a pointed tip and a wide base
Kabuki brush - it is very thick and rounded with a short handle
Mineral powder brush - it is thick and rounded

Eye shadow

Eyeshadow is used to make your eyes look more attractive or to Stand out.

It can be bought in many different colours such as pink, blue, green, yellow, purple, brown, black, greys and white. The most common eyeshadow colours are blacks browns and golds. Eye shadows can be worn in many different ways, it is usually 2 or 3 different colours blended into eachother. There is also different styles of wearing eyeshadow such as angled and winged.

Eye shadow can be bought in powders loose or compressed, creams, pencils and liquid. It can be worn only on the eyelids or blended up under the eyebrow.

It is usually made using talc, mica sericite, magnesium stearate and colours. They can be matte or sparkley. 

mascara

Mascara is used to enchance the eyes, it is used to thicken, lengthen, darken and define the eyelashes. 

There is various formulas to make mascara but they mostly have the same component of wax, pigment and oils, 

It is unknown where the word mascara comes from but it is thought to come from the word máscara meaning in Spanish to mask or stain. 

There is different ways of manufacturing mascara, one way it by mixing all the wax, pigment and oils together and heating it and separating it, this leaves a semi solid mixture thats ready for packaging, shipping and selling. Another way it by mixing the wax and oils and  water and thickeners, pigment is added separately after and then are added to a homogeniser to mix the ingredients quickly as they are ingredients which repulse eachother. 

Mascara should be disposed of after 3 months or if it seems to smell or look different then at time of purchase. Because of the ingredient mascara contains it has the ability to grow bacteria. This can cause eye infections or conjunctivitis. 

Mascara can be bought in different forms and for different reasons, some lengthen but stay skinny and definite, some thicken and lengthen and some just add a slight colour, you can also buy waterproof or non waterproof and different colours such as blue, purple,brown,black,red and pink 

lipstick

lipstick is made from wax which provides the solid structure, pigamentwhich gives it colour, oils which gives it a glossy look this is a nonvolitable oil which makes it spred easy but not fall out of the tube.
It applys colour, texture and protection to the lips. You can get lipsticks in many colour but the most popular are red, pink, purple and nude colours.
Different lipsticks,such as pearl and frosted, matte, gloss, cream and moisturizing. each one contains a different amount of each ingredient.

foundation

foundation is the most popular form of cosmetics to this day,a cosmetic is anything the improves or modifys the body. It is used to make the skin look even, cover flaws and sometimes change the colour of the natural skin tone. Foundation is used all across the is used all across the world starting in Eygpt. There are many different types of foundation including natural/mineral, water-based and alcohol based.it can also be liquid or powder based, it can have different results as well such as matte finish which is good for oily skin or shiny finish which is good for dry skin, it can also contain pink or yellow pigment depending on the brand and colour you purchase. foundation contains minerals from the earths resources, foundation used to be made from animal fat, tin oxide and starch but it now contains over 30 different ingredients including; alcohol, water, oil and colour pigment, caster oil is found in most foundations as it does not aggravate your skin or cause acne/spot, foundations can contain sun protecting factor(spf). Foundation has different effects on different people, for some people it can make there skin healthier but for others it can give them acne or mild reactions like itchiness, dryness.
